VERMINOUS was formed by Germaniac (Vocals/Guitars), Pelle Piss (Guitars) and Agge (Drums) in August 2002. VERMINOUS was born from the ashes of their former band DELVE, who have a MCD entitled "The Dead Amongst" through Greek label Nuclear Winter Records. In December 2002, VERMINOUS recorded their first official proof of existence in the form of a 7"EP also for the same label.
In March 2003, and after some months of negotiations, VERMINOUS signed a deal with spanish label Xtreem Music and the band began to work working on the last pieces for their debut album "Impious Sacrilege" that was recorded and mastered at the JFK Studio in April for a later release in July of the same year.
In May 2003 Simon Frödeberg entered the band as the vacant basist's place of VERMINOUS.
2004 to 2011, years of total darkness, due to medical issues.
In 2011 VERMINOUS started rehearsing and writing the last songs for the sophomore album "The Unholy Communion" and the recording began january 2012. After many delays "The Unholy Communion" was released 15th of april 2013, ten years after the debut album.
