2nd album with 18 songs by this spanish band that plays a bizarre drug-induced Grindcore which includes elements of Crust & Death and influences from bands in the vein of CRIPPLE BASTARDS, AGATHOCLES, early NAPALM DEATH, ROT, early CARCASS...
Rato Raro, provenientes de Palencia, llevan ya un tiempecillo haciendo ruido por el underground español, para ser exactos dede el 1992, y tampoco son ningunos desconocidos de los escenarios más kañeros y enfermos. Ahora han fichado por Xtreem Music y nos presentan su segundo larga duración, repleto de temas de grind infeccioso con letras no menos enfermas y decididamente ácidas (lo que parece ser el lema del disco y el nexo común entre los temas). De eso dan fe títulos como "Persiguiendo al Dragón (Chutarse Ácido Para Pasar el Mono)", "La Trípisima Satanidad (Ingesta de 3 a la vez)", por nombrar algunos de los más cachondos, aunque en realidad ninguno se salva y todos van en la misma onda tripi. Musicalmente nos econtramos voces guturales, gruñidos, ronquidos y varios efectos (con o sin ayuda de aparatos, ahí me queda la duda), ritmos monótonos y machacones, en fín, tralla pura y dura con mucha mala leche y pocas florituras. Así no es de extrañar de que los temas, todos ellos de una duración de alrededor de dos minutos como mucho, no se diferencien mucho entre sí, ni que la música sea de lo más elaborado. Pero eso tampoco es su finalidad, sino más bien gritar su rabia a los cuatro vientos y pasar un buen rato haciendo/ escuchando tralla a tope. El sonido retumba como si estuvieran tocando en una cueva, pero tiene la potencia suficiente para transportar la agresividad tosca y áspera de la música. Divertido, y seguro que mucho más en directo.
