KÖRGULL THE EXTERMINATOR was originally formed in 2004 by Joe Bastard (Akerbeltz, Beheaded Lamb, Harridan, etc…) and a member of a local Black Metal band, originally as a project. After rehearsing with two different guitarists and a bass player without reaching Joe’s expectations, Joe decided to record the drums he already composed and park the project for the future…
In the 2007 Joe got some spare time and unburied KÖRGULL THE EXTERMINATOR. The recordings were finished with Lilith Necrobitch (Harridan, Akerbeltz, Beheaded Lamb), Drizzt Sarnad (Amnion, Empty) and Mark Wild (guitar player in some local bands that had still not found a strong formation). The results of this quest was the split CD with Morbid Yell (The Black Legions March Over The Killing Fields) released by French label Thor’s Hammer Productions.
After this recording KÖRGULL THE EXTERMINATOR was supposed to die, but the music had such a power that the project became a solid band with the arrival of Steel Maniac getting the axe…
With this line-up the band has played live up to now with bands as Inquisition, Old, Zed Yago, Portrait, Sinister, Graveyard, Fleshcrawl and a few more. In 2008 KÖRGULL THE EXTERMINATOR signed a contract to kill with the Spanish label Xtreem Music for the releasing of the first full length album “Dogs of War” and the next of their recordings…
Nowadays KÖRGULL THE EXTERMINATOR is working hard in the stage battles and the creation of their style and war cry AXE THRASH METAL!!!
