Spanish Thrashers HOLYCIDE are back, and they do so with a new EP from which they advance a song entitled "War Broadcast Live". This new work will be entitled "Bazookiller", and will be released in September 12th, 2023 through Xtreem Music on CD and Digital formats.

     HOLYCIDE has undergone major line-up changes over the last year, with the incorporation of a new bassist (Vicente J. Payá, who originally formed HOLYCIDE with Dave Rotten back in 2004) and drummer Santi Arroyo "GoG", and about to incorporate a 2nd guitarist in September/ October. Meanwhile, as a quartet, the band has recorded an EP with 3 new songs and a cover of D.R.I. which will serve as an appetizer for what will be HOLYCIDE's 3rd album, which is already in writing process and is scheduled to be recorded at the end of 2023 or beginning of 2024 for its release in spring. These new songs from "Bazookiller" mark a more direct approach in the songs, with even more thrashy, catchier and more powerful riffs, which will result in even more intense and wild live shows!!

     "Bazookiller" was recorded between the months of March and June, being mixed at Monstery Studios by Javi Fernández and mastered at MK2 Recording Studio (Italy) by Davide Billia, achieving an impressive production with a really powerful sound!!

     The three new songs of "Bazookiller" make up a conceptual work based on the invasion and genocide of Ukraine by the Russian troops led by its dictator Putin. The stunning cover art has been made by Ukrainian artist Daemorph Art who has released his creativity and feelings like never before!!

     HOLYCIDE ha sufrido importantes cambios de formación durante el último año, con las incorporaciones de un nuevo bajista (Vicente J. Payá, quien originalmente formó HOLYCIDE junto a Dave Rotten allá por 2004) y el batería Santi Arroyo "GoG", y a punto de incorporar un 2º guitarrista en Septiembre/ Octubre. Mientras tanto, como cuarteto, la banda ha gradado un EP con 3 nuevos temas y una versión de D.R.I. que servirá de aperitivo para lo que será el 3er álbum de HOLYCIDE, que está ya en proceso de composición y tiene prevista su grabación a finales de 2023 o principios de 2024 para su lanzamiento en primavera. Estos nuevos temas de "Bazookiller" marcan una línea más directa en los temas, con riffs aún más thrashers, más pegadizos y más potentes, que redundarán en unos directos aún más intensos y salvajes!!

     "Bazookiller" se grabó entre los meses de Marzo y Junio, siendo mezclado en los Monsteny Studios por Javi Fernández y masterizado en los MK2 Recording Studio (Italy) por Davide Billia, consiguiendo una impresionante producción con un sonido realmente potente!!

     Los tres nuevos temas de "Bazookiller" conforman un trabajo conceptual basado en la invasión y genocidio de Ucrania por parte de las tropas rusas lideradas por su dictador Putin. El impresionante arte de la portada ha sido obra del artista ucraniano Daemorph Art quien ha dado rienda libre a su creatividad y sentimientos como nunca antes!!
