2nd album from 1991 by this legendary Czech band led by BIG BOSS and one of the essential releases of early European Black Metal. Arriving only a year after the debut "Zjevení", the album further established ROOT's unique identity, moving away from its Thrash roots while remaining distinct from the Scandinavian Black Metal formula that would later dominate the genre.
"Hell Symphony" blends primitive Black Metal, Heavy Metal and occult atmospheres into a dark, epic and highly distinctive work. BIG BOSS's unmistakable vocals, frequent tempo changes and the ceremonial character of the songwriting make this album a cornerstone of the Czech scene and an important step in the band's artistic evolution.
