Re-issue of the 1st EP from 1987 by this legendary German Death/ Thrash Metal band, released one year before its classic debut album "Golem". Even at this early stage, PROTECTOR already displayed a level of aggression and darkness that placed the band ahead of much of the European extreme Metal scene, laying the foundations for a career that would eventually earn cult status among underground Metal fans.
Its sound combines the violence of savage Teutonic Thrash with elements that clearly foreshadow the later development of Death Metal, driven by razor-sharp riffing, frantic rhythms, harsh vocals and a dark, chaotic atmosphere.
