2nd album from 1998 by the Irish PRIMORDIAL, one of the key bands in European Pagan Black Metal. “A Journey’s End” shows the band in an early but already well-defined stage, combining the rawness of Black Metal with a strong epic and atmospheric component.
The album develops a melancholic and combative sound, with extended structures, emotionally charged riffs and a very distinct identity, laying the foundations of the style the band would later fully establish in their following releases.
