Re-issue of the 3rd album from 1999 by the French S.U.P., a dark and atmospheric work of Death Doom/ Avant-Garde Metal that combines elements of industrial metal, progressive structures and electronic passages in a dense and deeply conceptual release. “Chronophobia” builds a cold, mechanical and oppressive sound, with unconventional structures and a strong emotional and existential weight.
The album moves between death-doom heaviness and sonic experimentation, creating a constant sense of anxiety, isolation and temporal distortion, with a highly personal approach far removed from traditional metal structures.
