4th album from 2005 by this innovative Belgian Progressive Death Metal band from Turnhout. Released after the departure of Sven de Caluwé, best known as the vocalist of ABORTED and one of the most recognizable figures from the band's early years, the album marked a significant step forward in IN-QUEST's evolution, further developing a style that was becoming increasingly technical, modern and ambitious.
Its sound blends Technical Death Metal, Progressive Death Metal and modern Groove Metal elements through complex structures, intricate riffing, constant tempo shifts and outstanding musicianship. Although the band moved toward more experimental and contemporary territory, the album still retains a strong Death Metal foundation that remains connected to its roots, balancing aggression, technique and melody with a distinctive identity.
