CD reissue of the 7” EP originally released in 2013 by Madrid's AVULSED, one of the longest-running and most representative bands in European Death Metal. “Revenant Wars” contains the exclusive title track recorded during the sessions for the acclaimed album “Ritual Zombi”, along with a devastating cover of NIHILIST’s classic “Sentenced to Death”.
This edition significantly expands the original content by including as bonus tracks the 2016 re-recording of “Hidden Perversions”, a song originally featured on the debut album “Eminence in Putrescence” and later included on the split EP with MERCYLESS released in 2017, as well as a cover of NAPALM DEATH’s “Suffer the Children”, recorded in 2013 for a tribute album that ultimately never materialized. Both “Revenant Wars” and the split EP with MERCYLESS were released exclusively on vinyl and are now completely sold out.
Presented on an exclusive transparent CD with silhouette printing, this release gathers hard-to-find material and stands as an essential piece for completing the AVULSED discography, showcasing the band during one of the strongest and most inspired periods of its career.
