Regarded by many fans as the peak of their career, this release showcased a remarkable progression from their debut, featuring more sophisticated songwriting and a distinctive identity that helped establish it as a cult classic of late-'80s American technical metal.
Its sound combines Thrash Metal aggression with progressive structures, excellent arrangements and outstanding musicianship, particularly the vocals of Alan Tecchio and the songwriting skills of Dan Lorenzo. An unjustly overlooked album that deserves to stand alongside some of the finest technical Thrash Metal releases of its era.
