Far removed from the dark, blues-infused Heavy Metal of the first four albums, the record emphasizes synthesizers, programming, electronic effects and oppressive atmospheres, while still retaining Glenn's unmistakable songwriting identity. Featuring guest appearances by Jerry Cantrell (ALICE IN CHAINS) and a highly distinctive reworking of BLACK SABBATH's "Hand of Doom", it stands as a bold and divisive release that has gradually earned appreciation as one of the most experimental and unique entries in the Danzig catalogue.
