Its sound blends atmospheric and ritualistic Black Metal with elements of the Hellenic tradition and epic Scandinavian Black Metal, incorporating ambient passages, hypnotic melodies and a strongly ceremonial approach. More ambitious and developed than its predecessor, the album creates a deeply mystical atmosphere where aggression, spirituality and darkness merge through lengthy and carefully crafted compositions. Regarded by many followers as one of the key releases of the band's early era, it represented a significant artistic step forward.
