Cassette version, limited to 50 copies, only available on the Xtreem Music mailorder, of the debut album from 2022 by the international WEAPONRY (Canada/ Spain), a project formed by Jo Steel (ICE WAR, APHRODITE) alongside Dave Rotten (AVULSED, HOLYCIDE, CHRIST DENIED), delivering a savage blend of old-school Death Metal, Crust and Deathgrind. “Everwinding Slaughter” is a filthy, intense and extremely aggressive assault built on razor-sharp riffs, crushing rhythms and an apocalyptic atmosphere that recalls the most extreme and urban sounds of the late 80s and early 90s.
The album is built around short, direct and devastating songs where the energy of Crust Punk merges with the heaviness of Death Metal and the violence of Grindcore, resulting in a compact, ferocious and attitude-driven sound. Far from being a mere nostalgic exercise, the band succeeds in capturing the rawest essence of the genre through a powerful production and an absolutely relentless performance.
